During the 2007/08 fiscal year, China granted aquaculture lab equipment worth 577,200 NAD to the Kamutjonga Inland Fisheries Institute (KIFI) in Namibia. KIFI is a research and training center and also produces fish. The types of equipment and the official donation ceremony date are unknown.
