Description

Since 1971, Guangzhou Health Department has been sending medical teams to Equatorial Guinea. In 2016, the Chinese Government dispatched the 28th Chinese medical team to Equatorial Guinea. The 27-member team was stationed at the Bata General Hospital in the city of Bata and Malabo Regional Hospital in the city of Malabo. The Chinese Ambassador to Equatorial Guinea Chen Guoyou visited the 28th medical team in February 2017. The 28th Chinese medical team completed its terms of service between 1 July, 2016 and 6 January, 2018, when the 29th medical team arrived in Equatorial Guinea.
