Full Description

Project narrative

On 12 July 2017, the first batch of 6,300 tons of rice was delivered to Sierra Leone. The first batch was 2,750 tons of rice and the handover certificate was signed by Sierra Leone's President Ernest Bai Koroma and Wu Peng, Chinese Ambassador to Sierra Leone in Freetown. According to the Economic and Commercial Counsellor's Office, the second and the third batches will arrive in November 2017 and January 2018, respectively.
