Project narrative

On June 14th 2013, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China donated six vans and 28 boxes of spare parts to the Parliament of Cambodia. On June 17th, 2013, Pan Guangxue, the Chinese ambassador to Cambodia, and the Secretary-General of the Cambodian National Assembly, Lai Penglong, signed a handover certificate in Phnom Penh, confirming that Cambodia has received six vans promised by China ("援柬国会面包车交接证书在金边签署"). The Press Release of the Cambodian Congress Secretariat said the donation would help improve the working conditions of the Cambodian Parliament.
