On December 6, 2007, the Ministry of National Defense of the People's Republic of China donated military band equipment to the Royal Army of Cambodia and medical equipment to the Preah Ket Mealea Hospital in Cambodia (or 向柬埔寨王家军提供军乐团装备与医疗设备). The handover ceremony was held at the Preah Ket Mealea military hospital. Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Zhang Jinfeng and State Secretary of the Ministry of National Defense of Cambodia, General Monsoppan, attended the handover ceremony. The aid materials provided by the Chinese side include musical instruments and transportation for the military band, hemodialysis machines, water treatment machines, and some office equipment.
