Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

On 25 November 2016, the Chinese Government donated 254,000 NAD to the Organization for the Empowerment of Widows/Widowers and Orphans of HIV and AIDS in Namibia (OEWONA). This grant arrived during an economic downturn and drought in Namibia, so OEWONA will use the money to help the NGO stay afloat and assist already vulnerable constituents. China has contributed to OEWONA many times before (projects #1300, #30683, #30303, #62767).
