Project narrative

On January 4th, 2016, the Vanuatu Prime Minister, Meltek Sato Kilman, and the Chinese Ambassador to Vanuatu, Mr. Xie Bohua, signed a handover agreement for the donation of sports equipment from the Chinese Government, and the handover ceremony was held ("驻瓦努阿图大使谢波华出席援瓦体育物资交接仪式"). The donation included soccer, basketball, volleyball, football and beach volleyball equipment, and was worth approximately 67 million Vatu. It is intended to develop the sports industry and promote sports among young people. This project is in response to a hurricane and is part of post disaster reconstruction work.
