Project narrative

On October 13, 2014, the wife of Chinese Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Mao Xuehong donated 80 million Leones to Sia Nyama Koroma, First Lady of Sierra Leone for providing food to Ebola-affected families and health workers. Madame Mao stated that Ebola is still rampant in Sierra Leone, and the country is facing daunting challenges in containing the deadly disease. Many families in the isolated districts and health workers working in the frontline of the fight against Ebola are facing food shortages and other difficluties
