Description
From May 7, 2018 to May 8, 2018, Chinese President Xi Jinping met with North Korean Kim Jong-Un in Dalian, China. It was widely reported at the time that the Chinese Government would promise a new aid package to North Korea during the meeting. Then, in July 2018, the Chinese Government donated 1,000 tons of rice worth $1.02 million to the Government of North Korea (captured via Project ID#63061). By October 2018, the Chinese Government had also donated 162,007 tons of urea fertilizer worth $55.03 million to the Government of North Korea (captured via Project ID#63132).
Additional details
1. "The State of Play in Sino-DPRK Relations" and "China drastically increases oil supply to N. Korea" suggest China promised to deliver 200,000 tons of urea fertilizer to North Korea.
