Project narrative

In June 2017, Chinese military sent the 2nd team of Military Medical Experts consisting of 14 experts from the People's Liberation Army to Sierra Leone. The team was tasked with helping Sierra Leone's armed forces building a modern center for prevention of infectious diseases in the post-Ebola era (China military medical team treats more than 70 disaster-affected people in Sierra Leone). In July 2017, after a mudslide hit Freetown, the team carried out free medical service to those people affected by the disaster (Record ID#63231). In August 2018, after a year of service in Sierra Leone, the team returned to China. (中国军医是最亲的人)
