Project narrative

On June 3, 2016, a ceremony was held to celebrate the launch of the Confucius Classroom Scholarship Program at the University of the South Pacific (USP) the Emalus Campus in Port Vila (or 南太平洋大学埃马路斯分校孔子课堂奖学金). The ceremony was attended by the Chinese Ambassador, Liu Quan, the Emalus Campus Manager, Ruben Bakeo Markwar, and the Director of the Confucius Institute at the USP, Li Denggu. The scholarship program is for students in Vanuatu who wish to study at the Confucius Classroom at the Emalus Campus.
