Project narrative

In 2009, China Eximbank Zhejiang Branch issued a $29 million overseas investment loan to Hailiang (Vietnam) Copper Manufacturing Co., Ltd for the Copper Pipe Factory Construction Project. The borrowing terms of the loan are unknown. The borrower used the proceeds to invest in the construction of a 71,000-ton copper and copper alloy pipe project within Vietnam’s Long Giang Industrial Park. This project has been completed. However, its precise implementation start and end dates are unknown. Bank of China also reportedly financed this project (see Record ID#63670).
