China Eximbank funded feasibility study for 230kV Ban Hat-Saphaothong Power Transmission Line Project. According to a report by Asian Development Bank, the power transmission line is 160 km long, financed by the export-import Bank of China and owned by EDL. The project period is from 2017 to 2020 and the expected commercial operation date is 2020.
