Description
According to a ‘Summary of Planned Transmission Lines’ published by the Asian Development Bank in 2017, China Eximbank agreed at least in principle to issue a loan in 2009 for the 230kV 115kv Phonsavan-M. Kham Power Transmission Line Project. The purpose of this project is to construct a 56km, 115KV power transmission line from a substation in Phonsavan to a substation in Muongkham (M. Kham). Several sources indicate or suggest that the project is ‘under construction’. However, AidData has not yet identified any other sources that corroborate the provision of a CDB loan, so the project is status-coded as a pledge for the time being.
