Project narrative

On August 31, 2018, the Chinese government donated large-scale agricultural machinery to the Provincial Government in Goroka, Papua New Guinea. It is unclear which branch of the Chinese government-financed the donation, but the equipment was provided by China Wuyi Co., Ltd. (a state-owned company). The donation ceremony was attended by the PNG Governor of the Eastern Highlands Province, Peter Noum, and the Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Papua New Guinea, Liu Linlin.
