Project narrative

On November 19, 2008, the Chinese Ambassador and the Vanuatu Minister of Agriculture signed letters of exchange for the provision of cash assistance for municipal power supply expenses for the Tuna processing plant (or 援瓦水产品加工厂项目市政供电现汇援助). The plant itself was built through a Chinese grant also approved in 2008. This project is linked to Record ID#39294, the grant for the processing plant. It is also linked to Record ID#73689, the joint venture created to operate the plant.
