Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

In April 2010, Letters of exchange for donation of 20 courtesy cars to Vanuatu were signed between the Chinese and Vanuatu government (or 援瓦努阿图礼宾车辆). On July 20th, 2010, a handover ceremony was held in Port Vila. The 20 cars include 16 cars and 4 mini buses. China FAW Group completed the manufacture of these vehicles, and shipped them in May. They arrived in Vanuatu on July 6 and delivered the vehicles to the Vanuatu in the shortest time, guaranteeing the use of those cars in the 41st Pacific Islands Forum. Among these concierge cars, the passenger car is the Chinese independent brand "Red Flag", and the China Bus is the "Yutong" passenger car. After the vehicle arrived in Vanuatu, China FAW Group also sent a technical team to provide technical support to the country ("中国援瓦努阿图礼宾车辆交付瓦方").
