Project narrative

On September 20th, 2012, the Chinese Ambassador, Xie Bohua, gave a speech thanking 8th Chinese Medical Team (Record ID#64053) for their service, and welcoming the 9th Chinese Medical Team to the country (or 瓦维拉港第九期医疗技术合作项目). The exchange of letters for the provision of this medical team were exchanged on July 3rd, 2012, between the former Chinese Ambassador, Cheng Shuping, and the Vanuatu Minister of Health, Willie Reuben Abel ("中瓦换文确认援瓦维拉港第九期医疗技术合作项目"). The team will include 7-9 doctors and be based at the Port Vila Central Hospital, where China has been sending medical teams since 1993.
