Project narrative

On February 8th, 2017, the Chinese government held a handover ceremony for the donation of medicine and medical equipment (or 援瓦医疗技术合作项目药品及医疗设备). The donation is part of the medical and technical cooperation agreement for Santo and Port Vila. Under this agreement, the Chinese government has also sent medical teams to the Santo Northern Hospital and the Port Vila Central Hospital since 1985 and 1993, respectively.
