Project narrative

In November 2015, China's Hubei Provincial Department of Education donated an RMB 650,000 grant to the Lautoka Chinese School in Fiji to improve its resources. The money will be used to replace old chairs and desks, maintain the school hall, purchase new projectors, and equip the school with a sound system. Earlier in August, the Hubei Provincial Department of Education donated 12 Lenovo brand Thinkpad laptops and 100 books to the school. Lautoka Chinese School (also Lautoka Zhong Hua School) is the sister school of Hunan Fruit Lake School in Hubei.
