Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

In 2006, the Chinese Government provided a USD 180,000 aid-in-kind grant to rural communities in Fiji (see Record ID#64215). Of this grant, USD 10,976 was allocated to the Nanoko Village electric grid system upgrade. The current status of this project is unknown. It is likely that China Railway First Group was the contractor , and the agreement was reached during the visit of Premier Wen Jiabao to Fiji in April 2006.
