Project narrative

In 2006, the Chinese Government provided a USD 180,000 aid-in-kind grant to rural communities in Fiji (see Record ID#64215). Of this grant, USD 11,948 was allocated towards the Tikina Noikoro youth beekeeping project. The current status of this project is unknown. It is likely that the agreement was reached during the visit of Premier Wen Jiabao to Fiji in April 2006.
