Project narrative

On December 21, 2015, a handover ceremony of medical equipment worth USD 130,000 to FSM was held at Pohnpei State Hospital. The equipment includes Ventilators, anesthesia machines, monitoring devices, such as surgical instruments, wheelchairs, mainly used in surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, and Chinese medicine department. It is part of the second phase of the Chinese government's confidential medical cooperation project (for the first phase, linked to Record ID#40023).. The second phase medical cooperation project includes six doctors from China serving at the Pohnpei State Hospital (linked to Record ID#40017) and the medical equipment and supplies captured in this project.
