Description

According to the news release from the Embassy of China in Thailand, in February (between 25 and 29) 2016, the Embassy of China provides scholarships to fifty students of the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, which may translate as “Young Ambassador” Foundation School of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand (in Chinese: “小大使”基金会学校). The foundation is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. According to a Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation news release, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China awarded a total of 150 scholarships, 5,000 baht per each scholarship, for a total of 750,000 baht. The scholarships were distributed among Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation’s network schools in Nakorn Ratchasima, Rayong and Chiang Mai. On 13 October 2015, at the Wat Srakaew School in Nakorn Ratchasima 50 scholarships were awarded to exemplary students from 9 schools in 7 education districts. On 11 November 2015, 50 scholarships were awarded to exemplary students from 8 schools in 2 education districts of Rayong. On 26 February 2016, 50 scholarships were awarded to exemplary students from 10 schools in Chiang Mai. The schools were chosen by the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation.
