Project narrative

As of June 2009, China has offered 46 training courses to FSM in various fields to assist the FSM in its capacity-building efforts under the Chinese 2009 Human Resource Development Program. The training is sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, and undertaken by the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation The training courses and seminars include the Seminar on the Chinese concessional loan, the Training Course on Food Safety Inspection Technology for Developing Countries, the Training Course on Marine Organism Culture Technology, and the Seminar on Trade & Investment. Each of the 46 training courses and seminars offers the FSM a slot of 2 to 3 participants.
