Project narrative

On May 4th 2017, the chairman of the Papua New Guinea General Election Commission said that 133 vehicles would be allocated in the near future In 2017, the Chinese Government donated 133 Foton vehicles worth 2 million USD to the Papua New Guinea government. The vehicles were donated by the Chinese Government to the PNG Government to assist with transport for the 2017 PNG elections. All 22 provincial electoral offices were given two vehicles each, with urban areas given extra vehicles. The first and last transaction for the project occurred in 2017.
