Project narrative

In 2015, the government of Timor Leste sent four trainees to China to participate in the "Bamboo Cultivation, Processing & Utilization" training sessions. This training was sponsored by the China National Bamboo Research Center (CBRC) and the Chinese Embassy in Dili, Timor Leste. China provided airline tickets and covered the fees for stay and transportation. The training was intended to develop bamboo planting and use in Timor Leste.
