Full Description

Project narrative

On July 12th, 2011 the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China granted audio and lighting equipment valued at CNY 200,000 Yuan to the Jordanian Ministry of Culture. The equipment was officially handed over at a signing ceremony on the same day, attended by the Chinese Charge d’affaires, Chen Xinzhong, and Jordanian Minister of Culture, Jeles Samavi. According to the Chinese Embassy in Jordan the project was intended to deepen cultural relations between Jordan and China. The Jordanian Ministry of Culture distributed the equipment to various Governorates outside the capital for use during cultural activities as "mobile" equipment.
