Description
According to a summary of planned transmission lines published by JICA in 2011, China Eximbank agreed at least in principle to issue a loan in 2009 for the 115kv M. Kham-Xam Nuea 1 Power Transmission Line Project. The purpose of this project is to construct a 120 km, 115KV power transmission line from a substation in Muongkham (M. Kham) to the Xam Nuea 1 substation. Several sources indicate or suggest that the project entered implementation. However, AidData has not yet identified any other sources that corroborate the provision of a CDB loan, so the project is status-coded as a pledge for the time being.
