The Chinese Ambassador to Togo, Wang Zuofeng and Togo's Minister of Health, Confi Char Agaba, met on December 23, 2011, for the official transfer of anti-malaria medications donated by China. No other specifics are provided. According to a deputy dean in charge of the Lomé Regional Central Hospital in Togo, artemisinin is the first choice for the treatment of malaria in the hospital.
