The first conference was held in Korolevu, Fiji from August 17th to 20th, and was the Asia Pacific Parliamentarians Conference on Environment and Development (APPCED). The second conference was also held in Korolevu, Fiji, over the 23rd and 24th of August, and was the Pacific Parliamentary Assembly Meeting on Population and Development (PPAPD).
