Project narrative

On January 22, 2012, the Chinese Government and the Government of Bolivia signed letters of exchange, which committed RMB 450,000 of grant funding for a feasibility study of the Asphalt Processing Plant Project in the city of El Alto. As of September 14 2012, the plant was functional and being used for road projects.

Staff comments

1. The Bolivian Ministry of Foriegn Relations associates two dates with the feasibility study: January 22, 2012 and February 6, 2012. It is unclear which of these dates pertains to the exchange of letters and which pertains to the grant.
