China provided assistance to Tonga for the fourth phase of the China-Tonga Agriculture Demonstration Farm Project (linked to projects #37707, #39248, #39241, #65028)

Beginning in 2016, a series of inspections of the Chinese-Tongan agricultural demonstration farm have taken place. These included two visits by Tongan King Tupou VI, and two from the Chinese Ambassador to Tonga. During these visits it was reported that the agricultural demonstration farm is now in its fourth phase, involving the construction of new open-air vegetable fields and vegetable greenhouses, the repair of pig houses and biogas digesters, the laying of drip irrigation facilities and the construction of simple roads in the demonstration area. This project is linked to #37707, which records additional funding for the piggery at the farm. It is also linked to #39248, #39241, and #65028, which record phases 1, 2, and 3 of the farm respectively. On June 7, 2017, Ambassador Wang Baodong visited the farm to inspect the fourth phase of Tonga's agricultural technical cooperation project.
