Description

On February 5, 2017, the Chinese Government and the Syrian Planning and International Cooperation Commission (ICC) signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA), which committed RMB 110 million of grant funding for humanitarian assistance activities. The funds were to be disbursed in two batches of humanitarian assistance worth RMB 40 million and RMB 70 million, respectively. The ETCA was signed by the Chinese Ambassador to Syria Qi Qianjin and the Director of the Syrian Planning and International Cooperation Agency Imad Sabni.
