On September 26, 2015, the Chinese Government issued an RMB 53.52 million grant to the Government of Cambodia for the Kratie Agricultural School Construction Project. A formal groundbreaking ceremony took place on September 26, 2015, and Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Bu Jianguo and Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Ji Chun were in attendance. The funder of the project (MOFCOM) conducted a final project inspection on March 14, 2016. The project was then formally completed and handed over to Cambodia’s Education Ministry on April 18, 2017. Then, on April 25, 2018, a school inauguration ceremony was held.
