Project narrative

On January 10, 2017, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang sent a letter to Prime Minister of Iraq Haider al-Abadi, announcing the provision of humanitarian aid worth RMB 70 million ($10.1 million USD) to Iraq to help alleviate the hardships endured by the Iraqi people. The contribution was intended to contribute to future Iraqi stability in the future. The details of what was included in this aid and the timeline of disbursement are unknown.
