Project narrative

In May 2017, the Chinese Government and the Government of Azerbaijan signed a grant agreement for the Animal Quarantine Equipment Project. China International Center for Economic and Technical Exchanges (CICETE) was the source of funding, but the financial value of its grant commitment is unknown. The purpose of this project was to support livestock production in Azerbaijan. The equipment arrived on January 13, 2018, and Chinese technicians provided assistance from August 14-28, 2018. A formal project handover ceremony took place on August 28, 2018. Then, in September 2019, A Chinese government delegation inspected the equipment.
