Project narrative

On December 21, 2018 the Chinese Government and the Government of Lebanon’s Council for Development and Reconstruction (CDR) signed an exchange of letters, which committed RMB 5 million of grant funding for the provision of 1000 tons of wheat to displaced Syrian refugees living in Lebanon. The donated wheat was to be distributed by Lebanon’s Ministry of Social Affairs. The wheat was delivered on July 2, 2019.
