Project narrative

On April 13, 2015, the 2015 Suva, Fiji Chinese Cultural Paradise Camp, or "2015中华文化大乐园——斐济苏瓦营," opened at the Yat-Sen school in Suva. The 12-day camp was aimed at students in grades 5-8 and offered dance, martial arts, calligraphy, painting, paper-cutting, and other traditional Chinese cultural courses. It was staffed by teachers from Jilin Province. This event was hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of Jilin People's Government and sponsored by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council and is part of the State Council's event "中华文化大乐园" or Chinese Cultural Paradise. The camp was finished on April 27, 2015.
