Project narrative

On December 21, 2018, the Chinese Ambassador to Cote d'Ivoire, Weibin Tang, officially donated a total of 37 million CFA to la Case des Enfants, an orphanage in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire. The donation included 70 Huawei tablets (4,550,000 CFA), clothing (11,965,500 CFA), stationery (1,317,187 CFA), craft materials, food, and other unspecified items. Moreover, the Chinese Ambassador offered a grant to renovate and furnish the dormitory, dining hall, and library. The orphanage is run by Children of African Foundation, a multinational non-profit created by Cote d'Ivoire First Lady, Dominique Ouattara.
