Full Description

Project narrative

On Apr 26, 2019, China International Development Cooperation Agency provided 2600 water-proof tents to Iran. Since late March, a large-scale continuous rainfall has occurred in Iran, causing severe flooding and massive losses. CIDCA is providing humanitarian aid to Iran and will provide Iran with four more shipments of relief supplies, including dinghies, life jackets, diesel generator sets and sewage pumps. The second batch of supplies arrived at Imam Khomeini International Airport on May 4, 2019, which included 1,400 water-proof tents. The third batch of supplies arrived at Imam Khomeini International Airport on May 25, 2019. It included 20 100-kilowatt generators, 300 sludge-pumps, 30 speakers, 30 small speakers, and 400 tents. The total monetary value of these supplies is unknown.

Staff comments

1. It is unclear if there was a fourth batch of supplies, as it is not attested to in the recipient sources. 2. The total value of the supplies is unknown.
