On 27 April 2019, the Chinese Ambassador officially donated agricultural equipment worth 130 million CFA to the Cote d'Ivoire Agency for Rice Development, under the 10th Chinese Agricultural Technical Assistance Mission (MATAC or Mission d'Assistance Technique Agricole Chinoise) for 2018-2020 (project #66175) in Guiguidou near Divo. The donation included combine harvesters, walking tractors, rice transplanters, seed sorters, rice milling machines, 4.5 tons of rice seeds, and a motorcycle.
