Project narrative

On 29 May 2015, the Chinese Ambassador to Cote d'Ivoire signed an agreement granting unspecified funds for the establishment of chicken farms in Port-Bouët. This project is an opportunity for young Ivorians to learn entrepreneurial skills and promote small businesses. The project was co-financed by the Ivorian Government and a local NGO carried it out. This project is part of the Sino-Africa People to People Friendship Action program (中非民间友好行动).
