Description

On March 10, 2017, the Chinese Embassy provides scholarships for 10 outstanding Malaysian students studying at Xiamen University in Malaysia (or 中国大使奖学金). These students were selected for the 2016 academic year. Each student received RM 12,000 for the award. In recognition of outstanding students, the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia established the "Ambassador Scholarship", which was provided for the first batch of students studying in new energy science and engineering, Chinese medicine, Chinese, journalism, accounting, finance, international business. The embassy will always support the development of the branch and continue to provide the "Chinese Ambassador Scholarship", hoping that students of all ethnicities will study hard and actively apply. The embassy will create opportunities for students to communicate in China, enhance their understanding of contemporary China, and look forward to their continuous efforts to realize their ideals so that China-Malaysia friendship will be passed on from generation to generation. On August 8, 2018, the Embassy of China provides the same scholarship for 20 outstanding students from Xiamen University in Malaysia for the 2016 academic year (captured in Project ID#66244).
