Full Description

Project narrative

On June 10th, 2019, the unveiling ceremony for the Confucius Music Center was held in Kiev, Ukraine. It was established at the P.I. Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine jointly with the Central Conservatory of Music (CCM) in Beijing with the support of the Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban). This is the first Music Confucius Institute classroom in Ukraine and also the first one in the world. According to the Chinese Embassy in Ukraine, the purpose of this classroom is to promote Chinese culture and music in Ukraine.
