Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

In May 2015, during a state visit to Belarus, Chinese President Xi Jinping pledged to construct a traditional Chinese medical center in Belarus. In 2018, an agreement was officially signed to establish a traditional medicine center at Minsk State Hospital in Belarus. The monetary value of this grant is unknown. Zhejiang Chinese Medicine University Affiliated No.3 Hospital helped implemented the project. The medical center was completed on November 3, 2019, and includes acupuncture among other forms of traditional Chinese medical practice. This center is intended for strengthening the cultural ties between the two countries. The source from the Chinese official agency stated that the project serves as a representation of Chinese culture.
