Chinese Government provides grant for mobile radiological laboratories, computers, and medical equipment

Project narrative

On August 29, 2012, the Chinese Government and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine signed letters of exchange, which committed grant funding for the provision of mobile radiological laboratories, computers, and medical equipment to the Government of Ukraine’s Ministry of Emergencies. The ultimate purpose of the project was to improve the quality of health care for populations living in the areas most affected by the Chernobyl disaster (within the Volyn, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Rivne, Chernihiv regions). The monetary value and implementation status of this grant commitment are unknown.
