Description

In 2009, China grants $650,000 to assist Armenia with its participation in the Shanghai Expo 2010 World Exhibition. This money was used for construction, design, maintenance, and other costs related to the Expo from May to October of 2010. On July 2, 2009, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan formally acknowledged Armenia's plan to participate in the Shanghai "Better City, Better Lives" 2010 expo, as well as China's financial assistance in funding Armenia's expo costs.
