Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

On October 24, 2010, a Confucius Institute was established at the Ovidius University (Romanian: Universitatea Ovidius din Constanta) in the city of Constanța. On March 19, 2011, the Confucius Institute was inaugurated. The Hanban website does not list a Chinese partner university for the Confucius Institute. The Confucius Institute will have classes in a new wing of the university library. The new wing is made up of an amphitheater, several classrooms, a Chinese style reading room, offices for Chinese language teachers, and dormitories for Chinese teachers. The first group to study at the Confucius institute consisted of 50 students.
