Description

In 2011, the Industrial and Commerical Bank of China signed a framework agreement with the Ukrainian LLC "UBinvest" to finance an animal husbandry (or cattle breeding) project in Ukraine through export buyers credits. The China National Machinery Industry Complete Engineering Corporation (CMCEC) agreed to implement the project. The animal husbandry project in Ukraine is a part of the "Going Global" program that the ICBC proactively supports. By the end of 2011, the Bank’s loans supporting projects of Chinese-funded enterprises “Going Global” exceeded USD10.0 billion. The amount of this total going towards the Ukraine animal husbandry project is unknown.
